My first report about Advertising

In the class of “oral communication” on Thursday, 29,September, I had to report about Advertising. It made me nervous all the week, beside so many businesses in my daily job also made me busy and sad. I had prepared 2-3 Ads for this report before Thursday like Smart car, Johnny walking wine, Toyota car but I used Taipei 101 Accessory Festival as my topic at last.

The messages as below are my scripts, please take a look and give me some advice.

Ladies and Gentleman:

Today, I want to share my working experience of Advertisment with you.
There are 3 basic elements of Ads:
The first is product strategic, 2nd is ideas, 3rd is about media channel.

The details of strategic are Position ABC.
A is Audience, mean the planner need to know your consumer, what kind of people
will buy your product, you need to focus the people of the market.
B is Benefit; mean the benefit of product and the consumer need the benefit function
very much, will bring convenient to their life.
C is compelling reason, mean some points to attractive people to like it and buy it.

Please look this Ads, this is Taipei 101 will hold an accessories collection promotion.The product is every kind of accessories, the planner calls it: Taipei 101 fall & winter accessories festival.

About the product strategic are:
A: The audience is very obvious to focus on the modern girl, young lady, rich women and so on.
B: The product's benefit is It's a very unique point in the market, the other Department always promote the whole annual sale not focus on one category.
C: The compelling reason is the product not very experience like shoes, make up, or clothes, but it also not very cheap like low class stuff.

Let's back to the basic elements of this Ad.
The idea of Ads is the main vision about the model. She looks young, beautiful and elegant. And her accessories on her are some strange things like a cat as muffler (neckerchief), a teapot as a hat, a cherry as ring. All the vision is very funny and it will make the reader smile like her.

This Ad on the first page of United Daily News, the fee is about 400,000 dollars. It's very expensive but it is easy to attractive reader to read it. Its media plan is work.

For the information as I mention, I think this AD is successful.

【Script III – After 3 mates reported, it's my turn to show up. Nervous, nervous, nervous…. I had made a lot of business presentation in my daily job, but I still nervous for this reporting. I forgot a lot of message and stammered when I had been standing in front of the class and .it also made me strain when the timer show the “Times up” card. Finally, I finished my first English report in that day. Our instructor Angela Wu took a video camera to shoot all the students' presentation and will give us a copy CD-Rom to see ourselves. I think the show will make a lot of people laugh.
