Writing III-How and Why I Became an AFL Student in NTUST
Grade:94
I have wanted to become a university student since I was a child. But I missed out the first time round, for my entrance examination score wasn’t good enough to enter a good high school. Then, my parent made a decision for me, letting me enter a cram school to prepare for the entrance exam of the next year in 1982. After the second exam I took, my parent made another decision for me: they chose a good junior college to avoid another failure three years later on the entrance exam for university. Even though I didn’t like the major Banking and Insurance, I still had a good time in the junior college, from 1984-1989. However, I was graduated from junior college, and began to work very hard for the next ten years. Fortunately, I was promoted to be a manager. As the circumstances changed, meanwhile, I found real aspirations: I needed to possess a higher education qualification to enhance my career prospects. Having begun the serious thinking and careful planning, I received from a hint at a Christian seminar. It was a strange experience to me for my poor English ability that I could understand half of the foreign pastor’s speech. Then I started self-study for the entrances exam of the university of Science and Technology. During the preparation, the Lord also gave me a lot of courage to keep up with the long-term complicated enrollment process. Finally, I got a high enough score to be a student of AFL in NTUST, which was my priority school. Yes, I became a student of AFL in NTUST, and the Lord fulfilled his promise to me.
