Writing Assignment 1-My Rainy Day Person

Let me tell you about a Rainy Day Person who helps me all the time. About fourteen years ago, I met Jesus through a stage play that was played by Christians in Taipei. The play was attracting and touching people's hearts. Certainly I was touched by Jesus at that time. When I prayed after the pastor spoke, I felt God comforted me through his hold and removed my sorrow by his hand. After I went to Church, I started to read the Bible and pray to God. My favorite scripture is chapter 23 of Psalms(*), which always shows up in my mind when I feel sorrow or have trouble with human relationships. I think God never leaves me no matter whether I was rich or poor, intelligent or stupid. He really is a veritable Rainy Day Person for me. Now, I am the youth-adult cell group's leader in Lu-chow Church. The mission of a leader is to be a shepherd like God to take care my sheep (the cell group members). It's not easy work for me, but I believe Jesus will help and guide me to be a good Rainy Day Person to people just like He is.
